Westminster, ColoradoWestminster, the ninth-largest city in Colorado, is a suburb in the northwest quadrant of the Denver Metro area. It’s conveniently located between Denver and Boulder, with easy access to downtown Denver and Denver International Airport. The city was founded in the 1870's as a farming community, and was originally named DeSpain Junction. The city of Westminster was incorporated in 1911. Westminster is in Adams and Jefferson Counties, adjacent to I-25 and the Denver/Boulder Turnpike, and has many housing options. The current population is approximately 101,000.
