Football

The Denver Broncos, two-time Super Bowl winners, are Colorado's most beloved sports team. The Broncos compete in the AFC Western Division of the National Football League (NFL). Team colors are Broncos navy blue, orange, and white.

Baseball

The Colorado Rockies are Colorado's Major League Baseball team. They compete in the Western Division of the National League. The team is named for Colorado's Rocky Mountains. Team colors are black, silver, purple, and white.

Basketball

The Denver Nuggets are part of the Western Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Team colors are powder blue, blue, and yellow. The team name is a reference to Colorado gold mining.

Hockey

The Colorado Avalanche belong to the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). The Colorado Avalanche are two-time Stanley Cup winners. Team colors are burgundy, white, silver, and blue.

Lacrosse

The Colorado Mammoth are members of the Western Division of the National Lacrosse League. The Colorado Mammoth are two-time winners of the National Lacrosse League championship, most recently in 2006. Team colors are burgundy and black. The team name refers to the mammoth fossils found in Colorado.

Soccer

The Colorado Rapids Major League soccer team is based in Denver. Team colors are blue and black. The team name refers to the rapids of the Colorado River.
