Restaurants

Pagliacci's is Denver's oldest Italian restaurant. It was founded in 1946 and has been owned and operated by the same family for 5 generations, using family recipes from Italy.

Highland's Garden Cafe is located in two Victorian houses, surrounded by beautiful gardens where you can dine outside in warm weather. Delicious contemporary American cuisine is featured. This is one of our favorite restaurants for special occasions.

Dining at the Brown Palace is a Colorado tradition. Try Sunday brunch at Ellyngton's, afternoon tea in the Atrium Lobby, lunch at the Ship Tavern, or dinner at the Palace Arms. Whatever you order, you can't go wrong.
Phone: 800-321-2599 (toll free) or 303-297-3111 (local).

The Buckhorn Exchange, a historic steakhouse featuring dishes such as buffalo and elk, is Denver's oldest restaurant. If you're feeling adventurous, they serve rattlesnake. If you're not feeling that adventurous (we never are), the steaks are great.

Casa Bonita is a Mexican restaurant in Lakewood with entertainment that includes cowboy shootouts, escaping gorillas, and cliff divers. Casa Bonita has been entertaining Colorado families for almost 30 years.

The Fort in Morrison was inspired by Bent's Fort on the Santa Fe Trail. This restaurant combines a love of the Old West with fine dining on buffalo, quail, and other exotic menu items. Rocky Mountain Oysters, anyone? (Don't ask.)
Phone: 303-697-4771

Rosa Linda's Mexican Cafe has been a Denver favorite since 1985. The restaurant is family owned, with home made food and friendly service. If you like chile rellanos, you'll definitely want to try them here.
Phone: 303-455-0608

The Blackeyed Pea is a family restaurant chain with several Metro Denver locations. It's a little noisy, but the food is good. The menu features homestyle foods, including fried chicken, pot roast, and meat loaf. The mashed potatoes, made with the skins on, are wonderful.
Phone: 800-571-3881 (toll free) or 303-671-3207 (local).
