If you're buying a new home, you need to know that:

• The people in the sales office work for the builder, not for you. You will want to have a friendly relationship with them, but remember, they are there to sell you a product - a house.

• The fee to pay a Buyers Agent to assist and protect you is paid by the builder.

• If you tell the builder you're working with Dave as your Buyers Agent before you register, Dave's services cost you nothing.
