Are Metro Denver, Colorado Short Sales, Pre-Foreclosures, Foreclosures, and HUD Homes Good Buys?

Is a short sale a good buy?
It depends on the price (relative to location, condition, market and other factors.) It also depends on whether or not the short sale is approved by the lender. If the price is reasonable and the lender approves, a short sale can be a very good buy.

Is a pre-foreclosure or foreclosure a good buy?
It depends on the price (relative to many factors) and the condition. Many foreclosures and pre-foreclosures have not been maintained by their owners and need some work done. If you're willing and able to make repairs, these homes can also be very good buys.

Is a HUD home a good buy?
Prices of HUD homes are usually quite reasonable. HUD homes are appraised and priced according to their current "as-is" condition. Usually a HUD home will need to have some work done. Look carefully at the condition of the home. If you're willing to do the work, or can afford to have it done, a HUD home can be a real bargain.
